No, ZooLights is a separate after-hours event. The Zoo closes at 3:30 PM on ZooLights days and visitors will be cleared off grounds. The gate will re-open at 4:30 PM for the event.

ZooLights does not feature the animals that live at the Zoo, as the animals settle down for bedtime, and parts of the Zoo are not accessible. To see the Zoo’s animals, guests are encouraged to visit during regular daytime hours.

ADA parking spots are located close to the Zoo entrance. They tend to fill up, so if a member of your group has mobility challenges, we recommend coming early to park as close as possible to the entrance. Personal Electric Convenience Vehicles are welcome, or you may reserve one online here.
Wheelchairs are available for rent on a first-come, first-served basis for $7/$6 for SB Zoo Members.

We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals to engage and participate fully. To request accommodations or for inquiries about accessibility, please email the accessibility team.
